Donate Overview
Your generosity makes all the difference. By becoming a supporter of Project Kampfire, you help to provide fully subsidized programs that empower youth, foster connections, and inspire growth. Every contribution ensures that financial barriers never stand in the way of a child experiencing the transformative power of camp, outdoor education, and community.
Donations directly impact our ability to expand our reach, enhance our programs, and create lasting memories for the youth we serve. Together, we can continue to build a brighter future, one story, one experience, and one child at a time.
Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink
Project Kampfire is proud to be a participating charity in Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink (BFK) in 2026.
Rogers Communications is the title partner of Canada’s only PGA TOUR Champions tournament in Calgary, the Rogers Charity Classic. The tournament has raised more than $164 million for over 316 children and youth charities across Alberta. Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink, supports thousands of youth annually in areas that include counselling, sports, and family support. Now through the end of August 2026, donations pledged through Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink to participating charities are matched up to 50% through the program’s matching pool.
The program donation period runs from March 16 - August 31, 2026.
Our goal for 2026 is to raise over $125,000. Donations of any amount are welcomed. We encourage donors to consider the following amounts for their gift:
$1,328 = 8 Days of camp for a camper
$166 = 1 Day of camp for a camper
$70 = 1 Session of transportation costs for a camper
$43 = 1 Day of nutritious meals for a camper
If you donate for 2 campers, your donation could be matched up to 50%, meaning a 3rd camper could be supported with your donation for 2!

Testimonials
In the midst of the adventures going on at summer camp or outdoor school, we notice the connections our staff are making with students and campers. We see the relationships forming between kids and nature and the building of community in cabin groups. We hear the laughter during skits and the questions pondered about how ecosystems work. We feel the sense of calm during nature nooks (journaling spots) and the warm embraces from kids as they depart after “the most amazing summer camp week of their lives.” But what about after camp or outdoor school is done? What kind of lasting impact have we made? This is perhaps one of the hardest things to measure or even place a value on, but their words help us to know.
