Our Supporters

It takes a village…

Project Kampfire is able to empower youth in our community because of our community of supporters. We are beyond grateful for their generosity, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of growth, adventure, and connection.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the following organizations and companies for their support:

Kiwanis Clubs of Calgary and Area have been supporters of our organization since it was founded by the Kiwanis Club of Calgary, Downtown in 1951. Kiwanis Clubs of Calgary and Area are part of a global organization focused on community service and support for children. They have supported Project Kampfire through donations, donations-in-kind and volunteers. We are so grateful for their ongoing support of our initiatives.

Picture Perfect Cleaning, a leading provider of commercial cleaning services in Calgary and Edmonton, has supported Project Kampfire fundraising and events through donating funds, donations-in-kind, and volunteers for events. In addition to offering reliable commercial janitorial services, supporting our communities and the environment is a critical part of their mission at Picture Perfect Cleaning, and we are so appreciative to be one of the organizations they support.

Project Kampfire was selected as a 2025 charity recipient by the Calgary Children's Foundation. This grant provided a summer camp experience for an additional 20 children in Calgary and the surrounding area. Project Kampfire's families, staff, and volunteers extend their sincere gratitude to the Calgary Children's Foundation for their ongoing commitment to children's charities in our community.

Project Kampfire was selected as a grant recipient in 2025 by the Cochrane Activities, a non-profit group of dynamic and dedicated women who actively engage in charitable, welfare, and civic activities. Project Kampfire is grateful to have received their support over many of the past 10 years.

Project Kampfire has been a participating charity in Rogers Birdies for Kids Presented by AltaLink since 2020. Through the generous support of this program, Project Kampfire has raised over $244,000 to support our summer camp programs.

Project Kampfire was a 2025 recipient of the Canada Summer Jobs Program which offers wage subsidy for youth ages 15-30. We are thankful to have received this grant numerous times over the past couple decades and the support it offers us to be able to hire qualified summer program staff.

Project Kampfire has received several grants and funding through the Government of Alberta including the Alberta Culture Days Grant and CIP Grant. We are thankful for the support of these grants in furthering the development of our initiatives.
